About the role
Temporary full time opportunity to provide the Director of Nursing Community and Oral Health Executive Office with high-level confidential and administrative support, including the organisation and management of matters referred to the Director of Nursing Services for resolution.
This role will manage and coordinate the daily schedule of the Director of Nursing Services, facilitating a customer focused, high quality, and efficient service to achieve an optimal level of performance in a demanding executive environment.
Liaison is required with a range of high-level key stakeholders within Community and Oral Health, the Department of Health, and across Metro North Health.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Under the direction of the DON, assist with human resource management, leave planning and recruitment.
Manage and organise all aspects of the office of the DON and provide dynamic, high level business and senior administration support to the DON. This includes managing the schedule in line with established priorities, coordinating and preparation for meetings, minute taking on a senior level, agendas, diary and travel management, correspondence and administrative, financial and purchasing functions as delegated.
Identify, monitor and attend to urgent enquiries and issues on behalf of the DON assuming an appropriate level of autonomy and self-directedness to issue resolution.
Assist to coordinate projects and tasks as directed by the DON requiring a high level of bespoke problem solving, preparation of briefings and reports to a professional standard.
