Full Job Description

The Opportunity

Mitolo Family Farms is a leading food production company seeking experienced Forklift Drivers to join our fast-paced manufacturing operations in Virginia and Penfield.

If you thrive in a high-volume environment, take pride in working safely, and enjoy being part of a hardworking team, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in a busy production environment
Load, unload, and move stock and materials, including loading trucks
Work confidently in tight spaces and fast-moving production areas shared with pedestrians
Assist with general warehouse and production tasks as required
Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety and hygiene standards at all times

What we are looking for

Valid forklift licence with demonstrated experience in safe operation
Proven forklift operating experience (electric or gas forklifts)
Experience working in a fast-paced environment (warehouse, manufacturing, or similar preferred)
Strong focus on safety in tight working spaces
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and safety protocols

Note: This role is not suited to newly licensed operators without practical experience.

Recruitment Process

As part of your application, you must be willing to complete:

A practical forklift driving assessment at our production site
A pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
