This is a rare multi-site retail management role for someone who wants genuine ownership of their portfolio and the variety that comes with it. On behalf of IFM Investors, you will manage four community shopping centres across Sydney, working from an inner west base with travel to other sites reimbursed. If you are a shopping centre professional who is ready to stop waiting for the next step and actually take it, this role was built for you.
This role is perfect for a shopping centre professional with solid hands-on centre experience who is ready to take genuine ownership of a portfolio and run it their way.
In this role, you will:
Manage day to day operations across four community shopping centres, keeping presentation, safety and compliance standards consistently high across each site
Build trusted relationships with retailers across the portfolio, supporting onboarding, lease administration, arrears management and lease compliance
Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, community events and initiatives that drive foot traffic and retailer performance
Drive casual mall leasing and identify new income opportunities across the portfolio
Assist with budgets, expense monitoring and monthly owner reporting, with a sharp eye on operational efficiency and centre performance
About You You know your way around a shopping centre and you are ready for more responsibility. You do not need to be told what to do next because you already know. You build relationships quickly, keep multiple plates spinning without losing your cool and take real pride in the centres you look after.
Experience in shopping centre management or a senior centre operations role, with exposure to the full range of centre responsibilities
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple locations without dropping the ball
A natural communicator who builds rapport quickly with retailers, customers, contractors and internal teams
A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel across your Sydney portfolio, with travel reimbursed
Current NSW Certificate of Registration, or willingness to obtain
