We have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Manager to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of community shopping centres across Sydney on behalf of our valued client, IFM Investors. With four sites spanning the inner east, inner west, south west and north west of the city, this role offers genuine variety and the kind of autonomy that suits someone who is self-driven, organised and ready to take their next step in shopping centre management.
This role is perfect for a shopping centre professional who thrives on variety, wants to own their week and is ready to take a genuine step up in their property management career.
In this role, you will:
Manage the day to day operations across four community shopping centres, keeping presentation, safety and compliance standards consistently high across each site
Build trusted relationships with retailers across the portfolio, supporting onboarding, lease administration, arrears management and lease compliance
Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, community events and initiatives that drive foot traffic and retailer performance across your sites
Drive casual mall leasing and identify new income opportunities across the portfolio
Assist with budgets, expense monitoring and monthly owner reporting, with a sharp eye on operational efficiency and centre performance
About You You are a highly organised self-starter with shopping centre experience who thrives with variety, takes ownership of your patch and knows how to build relationships quickly across different environments.
Experience in a shopping centre environment, whether in centre administration, retail operations, tenancy coordination or a similar role
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple locations
Confident communicator who builds rapport easily with retailers, customers, contractors and internal teams
A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel across your Sydney portfolio
Current NSW Certificate of Registration, or willingness to obtain
