About the role and where you will be working:
As our AN-ACC Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of sustainable, high quality aged care services across our residential portfolio. Working closely with operational, clinical and finance teams, you'll lead AN-ACC processes across multiple homes, ensuring assessments are accurate, funding is optimised, and compliance standards are consistently achieved. This is an exciting opportunity to influence both resident outcomes and organisational performance in a role that combines clinical expertise, analysis, and strategic collaboration.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Driving the organisation's AN-ACC strategy and ensuring best practice funding, compliance and assessment processes are embedded across our residential aged care homes.
Reviewing resident classifications, funding outcomes and supporting records to maintain accuracy, compliance and funding integrity
Leading internal review activities and helping sites prepare for AN-ACC audits, validations and external assessments.
Partnering with clinical teams to promote high quality assessment practices and robust supporting documentation.
Interpreting performance data and funding trends to identify risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.
Delivering meaningful reports and insights that support decision making across operational, executive and governance teams.
Building organisational capability by providing coaching, training and guidance on AN-ACC requirements and best practice.
About you:
We're looking for someone who combines technical AN-ACC expertise with a collaborative approach. You'll be a trusted advisor who can interpret complex information, influence best practice, and support teams to achieve consistent and accurate assessment outcomes. Whether analysing trends, mentoring staff or driving improvement initiatives, you'll bring energy, accountability and a commitment to excellence in aged care.
To be considered for this role you’ll need:
Registered Nurse (AHPRA registered) preferred; allied health qualifications considered with relevant experience.
Extensive knowledge of the AN-ACC model and aged care funding frameworks.
Minimum 3 years' experience in residential aged care, with multi-site experience highly regarded.
Strong clinical assessment skills and understanding of aged care regulatory requirements.
Experience in data analysis, reporting and quality improvement initiatives.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
