What's the role?
We are seeking a Talent Executive to join our Commercial Content Production team. This is a commercial and creative support role focused on content production and is not a HR position. In this position, you will assist the Head of Talent execute innovative, scalable talent solutions and drive talent inclusion initiatives across the commercial team and the broader NCA business.
Reporting to the Head of Talent, you will collaborate closely with our commercial creative team, internal stakeholders, and external agencies. You will help deliver talent solutions for our commercial campaigns that are creative, cost-effective, and fully aligned with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Head of Talent to cast talent that aligns with cross departmental stakeholder and client requirements for pre-sales and booked campaigns.
Draft initial contracts for Head of Talent approval to ensure a clear outline of deliverables and usage rights for all advertising and commercial content across News Australia and external platforms.
Ensure all talent and agency onboarding, payments and budget accountability are processed smoothly and accurately
Stay on top of industry shifts and innovation by actively tracking talent agency movements, contact information, represented talent, creator platforms and emerging market trends to ensure our campaigns and strategy remain highly competitive.
Attend offsite meetings and video shoots as required
Help prepare decks and case studies for external and internal presentations.
Continually build, organise, and update internal and external talent and creator lists across key business pillars utilising Ai technology and internal research models
Support the Head of Talent in using AI technology and insights to discover new talent and optimise effective Talent Tools for the business.
Track competitive data and talent driven campaigns for internal presentations and industry knowledge.
Assist in reporting across all talent-driven campaigns to help track performance and competitive industry trends regularly
Who are you?
3 years minimum experience in Entertainment, Talent Management, Agency or Production
A basic entry level understanding of contracts across omni-channel commercial content and social media campaigns.
Understanding of the digital space and creator economy along with basic digital production knowledge.
Have a general knowledge of the Australian media/entertainment landscape, brand and media agencies, producers, and creator platforms.
Strong administrative and organisational skills with a baseline understanding of talent processes.
Ability to confidently work with external and internal stakeholders including agents. internal producers, the creative team, sales, legal and finance.
Understanding of Ai driven platforms and applications and willingness to learn
