Full Job Description

NDIS positive behaviour support role — behaviour support plans and functional assessments, all ages, by telehealth or in person across Perth and Western Australia, however suits you.

About Rally

Rally is a coordinated NDIS service across OT, Speech Pathology and Positive Behaviour Support, with a team that actually talks to each other on our own platform. We've launched, we're onboarding participants, and we're growing our behaviour support team across Perth and Western Australia.

The service is live and the participant base is growing. Come in early and help shape how we deliver.

The role

You'll carry your own caseload of NDIS participants of all ages, delivering positive behaviour support toward a better quality of life and the reduction of restrictive practices — by telehealth, in person, or a mix.

Day to day

- Run functional behaviour assessments with participants and their support networks, over telehealth or in person

- Write interim and comprehensive behaviour support plans that meet the NDIS behaviour support rules

- Reduce restrictive practices and monitor how plans are working

- Coach families, carers and support workers to carry out strategies

- Share records and handovers with our OT and Speech Pathologists

You'll need

- To be a suitable NDIS behaviour support practitioner (Core, Proficient or Advanced), or working toward suitability through the entry-level pathway with our supervision — every level is welcome

- A relevant background (psychology, OT, speech pathology, social work, special education, disability studies or applied behaviour analysis); the NDIS assesses capability against the PBS Capability Framework rather than one set degree

- Experience with functional behaviour assessments and behaviour support plans (or developing it via the entry-level pathway)

- An NDIS Worker Screening Check and NDIS Worker Orientation Module

- A Working With Children Check, national police check, professional indemnity insurance, and an ABN

- Comfort delivering support over telehealth
