The role :

The Managed Public Cloud Platform Technical Team Lead is a senior, hands-on leadership role in Brennan's Managed Digital Services division. You will lead a team of cloud consultants to deliver reliable, secure managed outcomes for clients, while creating a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and great customer experience.

You will provide technical leadership across customer engagements and support cloud consulting and delivery teams to drive reliable, scalable managed services. This is a leadership role with accountability for a global team. The role requires regular customer engagement and, where needed, on‑site presence to support key accounts, complex escalations, and trust‑based technical advisory. Strong customer visibility is critical to maintaining service quality, influencing technical direction, and ensuring managed cloud services continue to meet customer expectations as they scale.

Supporting Team Development through Coaching & Mentoring of Team Members
Client SLA Management & Contract Adherence
Maximising Client Satisfaction
Support in the Execution of Managed Services Strategic Objectives
Identifying Efficiencies & Addressing through Process & Automation
Continual Improvement - Maturing of Services
Consultation on SLA Definition & Development
Development of ITIL Aligned Operational Processes
Services Catalogue Review & Contribution
Consultation on Managed Services Product & Associated Schedule

Skills/Experience required :

Proven, relevant experience in a Tech leadership or Team lead role and able to demonstrate technical team management
Relevant experience in a senior technical role
Comprehensive experience in core enterprise applications
Technical competence across Public Cloud Technology
Microsoft AZ-104, AZ-204 or AZ-305 - Certification and experience managing Public Cloud environments.
Financial Implications - Identify financial implications and challenge the risk of business and/or project decisions.
Maintain effective stakeholder involvement and engagement with the decision-making process
Problem Solver and analytical
Excellent negotiator and influencer
Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills
Demonstrated ability to train, coach and mentor staff
Ability to delegate effectively
Ability to manage and implement change – change agent and ambassador.
Ability to plan, prioritise and completes tasks with conflicting priorities
Service level management
ITIL certification and/or experience
Experience with cloud observability and monitoring platforms (e.g. Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Datadog or equivalent)

Desirable:

Prior experience within an outsourced service delivery environment
Project Management
Technical Risk Management
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience – Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
Familiarity with AI-assisted operations and automation tooling (e.g. Copilot for Azure, scripted remediation, workflow automation)
Multi-cloud exposure (AWS or GCP) in addition to core Azure competency
Cloud cost optimisation and FinOps principles – experience managing and reporting on cloud spend, identifying waste, and driving cost efficiency for clients
