About the Role
As Key Account Manager – National Distribution Channels, you'll be responsible for managing and growing relationships across key distributor networks and strategic customer accounts.
Working closely with distributors, internal stakeholders and selected end users, you'll focus on driving growth, identifying opportunities and ensuring strong execution across the DON product portfolio.
This role combines account management, commercial planning and project-based activity, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships while also coordinating initiatives that deliver long-term business outcomes.
Based in South Australia, the role also includes interstate travel and exposure to national customer groups, providing excellent breadth and career development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strategic relationships across key distribution partners
- Drive sales growth and identify commercial opportunities across distributor networks and customer groups
- Partner with distributors to execute initiatives, product launches and promotional activity
- Support selected national accounts and strategic customers across multiple states
- Lead and contribute to key projects that improve customer outcomes and business performance
- Conduct commercial negotiations and influence positive outcomes with customers and distributors
- Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to deliver customer and business objectives
- Gather market intelligence and customer insights to support future growth strategies
- Ensure strong planning, reporting and execution across your portfolio
About You
- Experience in sales, account management or business development roles
- Strong relationship management capability and confidence working with key customers, existing network within the SA distributor pace highly regarded
- Proven negotiation skills and commercial acumen
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, projects and priorities simultaneously
- Experience working with distributors as well as end users is highly regarded
- Foodservice experience is advantageous
- Chef or kitchen hospitality experience would be viewed favourably also
- Organised, proactive and comfortable working autonomously
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel interstate is required
