We are seeking a fully qualified, experienced Cook/Chef to join our beautiful childcare centre in Torrensville. This is a permanent part-time position, working 70 hours per fortnight.

Are you passionate about inspiring young children through food? We are seeking an experienced chef with a strong work ethic, great communicator, team player and a passion for providing high-quality meals. You will have the opportunity to meal plan and prepare nutritional, varied and fun meals that cater to the diverse needs of up to 77 children.
You will have:
- Food Management Certificate (or equivalent trade qualification) or a minimum of 2 years
commercial cooking experience.
- Experience with ordering provisions/stock and menu planning in a commercial facility.
- Experience coordinating tasks to prepare, serve and clean up after meals.
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to comply with statutory regulations and
accreditations including food safety, WHS and kitchen hygiene requirements, including
ability to complete associated documentation.
- Experience catering for a large number of children with a variety of dietary and health
needs.
- Ability to use technology and computer systems for the purposes of research, food
ordering and menu planning.

- Valid Working with Children Check
- Current South Australian driver’s licence
- Right to work in Australia (VEVO check)
- First Aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications (or willingness to obtain)

This role is based at our Torrensville Community Childcare Centre near the Brickworks.
