You’re ready to play an essential role behind the scenes by providing vital support, ensuring seamless project execution, and playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of transportation.
In this role, you'll:
- Partner with technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to develop project scopes, define requirements, and support project planning activities.
- Prepare briefing notes, business cases, and supporting documentation to facilitate funding requests, approvals, and informed decision-making.
- Coordinate and manage technical configuration changes, ensuring compliance with governance processes and operational requirements.
- Support the end-to-end delivery of projects, including coordinating project documentation, reporting, schedules, risks, and actions.
- Monitor project progress against key milestones and performance indicators, identifying and escalating issues as required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives, priorities, and deadlines are achieved.
- Provide advice and support on project delivery, procurement, contracting, and governance activities.
- Prepare project updates, reports, and communications to keep stakeholders informed and support successful project outcomes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices and operational processes.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-profile fleet standardisation program that will help shape the future of public transport. Working within a growing and collaborative team, you'll play a key role in developing the strategy and implementation approach for standardising bus fleet components across hundreds of vehicles, supporting significant future procurement and operational outcomes.
This is a Temporary Opportunity - up to 16 months.
This position is based in Sydney CBD and requires attendance in the office at least three days per week.
