Cold Calling Sales Representative / Appointment Setter — NSW

$27–$30 per hour + uncapped commission | Part-Time | NSW-based (regional NSW welcome)

THE ROLE IN BRIEF

Pure outbound appointment-setting for a growing Sydney-based AI systems agency — you book the meeting, the founder runs the sales conversation and closes.
Working from a supplied target list and a tested call script — you're not starting from a blank page or building your own pitch.
KPI is booked meetings only — there is no minimum number of calls you need to make each week.
$27–$30/hour base pay (depending on experience) plus 10% uncapped commission on every client you help bring on board.
Mandatory: 1–2 years of cold-calling and/or sales-closing experience.
Must be based in NSW — regional NSW is welcome, this role does not require you to be in Sydney.

ABOUT HARBOURFRAME

HarbourFrame is a Sydney-based digital agency that builds and personally runs AI-powered systems for local Australian businesses — trades, restaurants and hospitality, healthcare and allied health, personal and local services, and home services. Instead of juggling five different software tools and vendors, HarbourFrame gives a business owner one relationship: AI phone and booking receptionists, automated reviews and reputation management, local lead generation and visibility, AI-assisted quoting, and digital loyalty systems — all built and looked after by real people who know the business by name. No guaranteed rankings, no guaranteed leads, no inflated promises — that honesty is part of the pitch, not just the product.

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO

Work through a supplied list of local Australian businesses by phone, using call scripts already built and tested for this exact purpose.
Qualify that you're speaking to an actual decision-maker (owner, manager, or equivalent).
Briefly explain why they might want to hear from HarbourFrame and get their interest in under a minute.
Book a specific date and time for a discovery call directly into the founder's calendar — every booked meeting is handed straight to Eddie, who runs the actual sales conversation and closes personally. That's a deliberate part of how HarbourFrame operates: every client deals with one person from the first real conversation onward, so your focus stays entirely on what you're best at.
Log the outcome of every call (booked, not interested, call back later, wrong number) so nothing falls through the cracks and lists don't get called twice.

WHAT "A BOOKED MEETING" MEANS

A booked meeting is a discovery call scheduled at a specific date and time with a genuine decision-maker at a real local business, confirmed in the calendar — not a vague "maybe, call me back sometime," and not a meeting booked with someone who can't actually say yes to hiring HarbourFrame. Quality matters as much as quantity: a calendar full of no-shows or people with no authority to decide isn't worth the same as a smaller number of real conversations with real owners.

EXPECTATIONS

There is no minimum number of calls required per week — the only thing that's measured is booked meetings that meet the quality bar above. How you get there (call volume, pacing, time of day) is up to you, as long as real meetings are landing consistently.

PAY & COMMISSION

Base pay: $27–$30/hour, depending on experience, paid for every hour worked regardless of results.

Plus 10% commission, uncapped, on the one-off setup fee for any client who signs on with HarbourFrame from a meeting you booked — paid once, when that client converts. There's no ceiling on how much you can earn; it scales directly with how many of your booked meetings turn into paying clients. Commission is on top of your hourly pay, not instead of it — you're paid for your time either way, and commission is the upside on top. To make the math concrete:

A client who signs up for HarbourFrame's Lead Generation service at its top tier ($1,150 one-off setup) puts $115 in your pocket on that conversion.
A client who signs up for Reviews & Reputation Management or an AI Phone Receptionist ($500 one-off setup each) puts $50 in your pocket on that conversion.
A client who signs up for the AI Estimation & Quoting service ($1,000 one-off implementation fee) puts $100 in your pocket.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

1–2 years of cold-calling, appointment-setting, and/or sales-closing experience is required for this role. You should be comfortable picking up the phone and calling businesses that don't know you, all day, without taking a "no" personally, and confident enough to qualify a decision-maker and hold their attention in the first thirty seconds. You don't need technical or industry-specific background — HarbourFrame will brief you fully on what's being sold and who to call — but genuine, demonstrable phone-sales experience is non-negotiable for this one.

TRIAL PERIOD

The first two weeks are a paid trial period, at full hourly pay, giving both sides a genuine chance to confirm fit — you get a real feel for the role and the product, and HarbourFrame gets to see real booked meetings landing consistently. Ongoing employment beyond the trial is subject to a standard probationary review period, as is normal for a new part-time role.

LOCATION

This role is NSW-based. You don't need to be in Sydney — regional NSW is genuinely welcome — but you need to be located in NSW to apply.
