Job Overview
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for developing new business growth opportunities to meet or exceed annual business objectives for Teletrac Navman products. The role focuses on proactive outbound sales activities using a mix of telephone, digital, online and AI‑assisted channels to identify, research, qualify, and progress prospective customers.
As a contributing member of the Enterprise Sales team, the position requires disciplined execution of sales activities, effective use of CRM, online platforms and AI‑enabled sales tools, close collaboration with internal teams, and a strong commitment to customer service quality, professionalism, and compliance with Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) requirements.
Responsibilities
Generate new business sales opportunities through outbound telephone, email, online and digital prospecting activities.
Leverage AI‑enabled tools to support lead research, data enrichment, prioritisation, activity planning and productivity.
Contribute to a customer‑driven sales culture with a strong focus on execution, results and quality engagement.
Manage all sales activities, appointments, meetings, leads, opportunities and achievements within Salesforce CRM and related online sales platforms.
Achieve daily, monthly and annual sales KPIs and targets through proactive, data‑driven solution selling.
Plan and organise time effectively to optimise outbound calling, online outreach and required activity metrics.
Manage individual outbound campaigns across phone and digital channels with emphasis on activity levels and engagement quality.
Provide regular and accurate sales pipeline, forecasting and activity reports using Salesforce and supporting analytics tools.
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Teletrac Navman products, features, functionality and competitive offerings using online research and enablement tools.
Work closely with Enterprise Sales team members, Solution Specialists, Marketing, Training, Technical Support on sales opportunities and regional activities.
Understand customer needs and ensure customer quality requirements are met across all engagement channels.
Consistently comply with Teletrac Navman quality standards, data accuracy requirements and digital working practices.
Take reasonable care for personal health and safety and that of others, and comply with all HSEQ policies and procedures.
Required Skills / Qualifications / Certifications / Tech Stack
Minimum two years’ experience in outbound telesales, inside sales or inside sales development roles.
Prior B2B or B2C sales experience, including digital or online prospecting activities.
Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and activity‑based KPIs using a mix of phone and online channels.
Experience using AI‑enabled or automated sales tools for lead research, sequencing, prioritisation or productivity.
Experience with ROI‑based selling and operating expense discussions.
Strong computer literacy and effective time management skills in a digital‑first working environment.
Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM systems and online sales engagement platforms.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, online collaboration tools and web‑based presentation or demonstration tools.
Ability to interpret data, dashboards and AI‑generated insights to guide sales activity.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
High attention to detail and the ability to manage complex customer situations.
Self‑motivated, reliable and resilient, with accountability for actions and outcomes.
Strong commitment to customer service excellence, professionalism and quality standards.
