Chiropractic Receptionist

We are looking for the final member of our reception team , someone energetic, reliable, highly organised and quick-thinking to join our busy chiropractic clinic.
This is not a quiet reception role.
Our clinic sees a high volume of patients throughout the day, with multiple patients arriving every few minutes. The clinic can also be lively and noisy at times due to our chiropractic adjusting tables, phones, conversations and the number of people moving through the clinic.
There is always something happening, so you need to be comfortable working at a fast pace, switching between tasks and staying focused despite activity and noise around you, while still giving every patient a warm and professional experience.
We are a small, close-knit team, which means everyone plays an important part in keeping the clinic running smoothly. We value people who are positive, dependable, proactive and willing to help, while also knowing when to stay focused and get things done.
We are a family-focused chiropractic clinic that believes in helping people improve their health naturally through chiropractic care, movement and healthy lifestyle choices. An interest in natural health, wellness and chiropractic care is highly regarded.

Responsibilities
- Welcoming and checking in patients
- Managing a busy appointment schedule
- Answering phones and responding to enquiries
- Processing payments and health fund claims
- Supporting patients throughout their care programs
- Assisting chiropractors with daily clinic operations
- General reception and administrative duties
- Keeping the reception and waiting areas clean, organised and presentable throughout the shift
- Completing light cleaning and tidying duties at the end of the day to prepare the clinic for the following morning
Previous Experience
Previous experience in reception, customer service, medical administration, hospitality or another fast-paced customer-facing environment is highly regarded.
However, we believe the right attitude, reliability, communication skills, work ethic and willingness to learn can be just as important as previous reception experience.
Hours & Availability
This is a casual position with 25 guaranteed hours per week.
If preferred, we are also open to offering approximately 20 hours per week if that suits better.
We understand that having predictable hours is important and aim to keep our team members on consistent days and shifts so they can organise their life around work.
However, as we are a small team, some flexibility is essential. From time to time, team members may need to swap shifts or provide additional cover due to illness or leave.
Our shifts are Monday to Friday:
Morning Shift: 6:45 am – 12:00 pm
Afternoon Shift: 2:00 pm – 7:30 pm
The regular roster will include a mix of morning and afternoon shifts, so applicants must be available for both.
