About you

Bring your passion for accuracy and your keen interest in value for money, along with your strong curiosity and eagerness to learn, to this role where you will negotiating and submitting Request for Quote (RFQ) packages.

Your proven excel and experience with IFS or a similar ERP system in addition to your strong relationship management skills will enhance the teams’ capability and provide you with a career path of your choosing within Procurement.

To be successful you will bring:
Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance
Sound ERP system experience and a desire for continuous improvement
Membership to the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) or the Australian Supply Chain Institute (ASCI)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven, strong attention to detail
A team player with strong computer literacy and skills including the MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
A current drivers’ licence

About the Role

Due to internal opportunities this position has arisen. The Purchasing Offer opportunity is an exciting career move for you to use your interest in purchasing, project or contract administration skills to and build a career in Procurement. With strong training from subject matter experts, you’ll learn the entire work cycle for our procurement and purchasing processes. You’ll successfully advance your purchasing career within the Defence Industry.

Importantly, you’ll be involved in the review of all current procurement initiatives and be key in minimising risk while maximising value for money. Working with the team, you’ll assist in the accurate measure of our contractual obligations and performance. Your attention to detail here is key!

This role is based at Henderson, WA with a possible requirement to work from our Garden Island, WA base also.
