About the role
Working in close collaboration with PMO Stakeholders, the Senior Procurement Officer will be responsible for the procurement and supply chain services for IMSA programs, delivering on schedule and within budget. This will be achieved through working collaboratively with program teams to develop and implement procurement outcomes that contribute to business growth and enhance Australian Industry Capability.
Your remit will include but not limited to; Preparation and analysis of requests for quotations and statements of work to suppliers to meet the requirements and demands of the business and projects including running supplier competitions where appropriate; Production and coordination of purchase requisitions and the administration and management of purchase orders and sub-contracts to maximize profitability and ensure timely achievement of project objectives; Preparation and negotiation of sub-contracts, statements of work and order amendments; Provide supply chain input with the cost estimating process for bids and proposals including the cost of BOMs
About you
To be successful in this role and to best leverage the opportunities provided by L3Harris, some skills & experience ideal applicants will bring include;

Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related discipline

At least 5 years experience, desirable
-
Defence industry experience, desirable
-
Demonstrated experience in development of supplier relationships, supporting customer requirements and meeting time critical deadlines

High level of computer literacy and ability to compile reports

Experience with and understanding of Export Controls (especially the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)) desirable

Ability to hold and maintain an Australian Defence Clearance
