Help Create a Clean, Safe and Comfortable Environment for Residents

Challenger Services Group is seeking dedicated and reliable Full-Time Aged Care Facility Cleaners to join our team across Rooty Hill and Kingswood, NSW. In this role, you'll help maintain a clean, hygienic, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff while supporting the high standards expected within an aged care setting.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values attention to detail, and wants to contribute to a positive living environment for elderly residents.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm

Location: Rooty Hill and Kingswood, NSW

What You'll Be Doing

As a Facility Cleaner, you'll be responsible for:

Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across resident rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, and staff facilities.
Performing routine cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, disinfecting surfaces, and waste removal.
Following infection control procedures and workplace health and safety standards.
Conducting regular sanitisation of high-touch surfaces to support resident wellbeing.
Replenishing cleaning supplies, paper products, and consumables throughout the facility.
Reporting maintenance issues, hazards, or equipment faults to supervisors.
Supporting a welcoming and comfortable living environment for residents and visitors.
Treating residents, visitors, and staff with professionalism, dignity, and respect.

About You

You'll be someone who:

Has previous cleaning, housekeeping, healthcare, hotel, or aged care experience (preferred but not essential).
Takes pride in delivering high-quality cleaning services.
Understands safe cleaning practices, infection control, and chemical handling procedures.
Has excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
Enjoys working independently and as part of a team.
- Has a genuine interest in creating a positive environment for elderly residents.
Holds a valid Police Check or is willing to obtain one.
Holds an NDIS Worker Check or is willing to obtain one (Mandatory).
Has received at least two COVID-19 vaccinations and a current Influenza vaccination (Mandatory).
