Full-Time Housekeeping Supervisors –Sydney CBD
We are seeking motivated and detail-focused Housekeeping Supervisors to join our Sydney CBD team.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation are consistently delivered across guest rooms and hotel public areas. You will support the housekeeping team by conducting thorough room inspections, identifying areas for improvement, and guiding attendants on best practices and service standards.
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will help maintain quality control across daily operations by monitoring room standards, communicating any issues or maintenance concerns, and supporting the ongoing training and development of the housekeeping team.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining exceptional standards and enjoys mentoring team members to achieve outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting detailed inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are met
- Providing clear guidance and instruction to housekeeping attendants on proper cleaning techniques and service expectations
- Supporting the training and development of team members to improve quality and consistency
- Identifying maintenance issues, safety concerns, or service gaps and communicating them to the Site Manager
- Ensuring correct use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and hygiene procedures
- Maintaining strong attention to detail across all inspected rooms and hotel areas
- Supporting the team in maintaining efficient workflow and consistent housekeeping standards
- Promoting safe work practices and compliance with WHS and infection control guidelines
- Acting as a point of support for housekeepers when questions or issues arise during service
About You:
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, ideally with supervisory or room inspection responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and presentation standards
- Experience working in 4- or 5-star hotel environments highly regarded
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear direction and feedback to team members
- Confidence in identifying quality issues and coaching staff on how to improve standards
- Sound knowledge of cleaning chemicals, techniques, and WHS requirements
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Working rights in Australia
