Full Job Description

Nosh is a hospitality business operating across retail food stores, catering services and digital ordering channels. We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Group Marketing Manager to develop and deliver marketing strategies that strengthen our brand, grow customer engagement and support business growth across the group.

Position Purpose

The Group Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing marketing strategies and programs across Nosh’s retail stores, catering operations and digital channels.

Reporting to the Directors, the position supports the growth of the Nosh group by researching market opportunities and customer demand and advising management on product mix, pricing, advertising, sales promotion, selling methods and distribution channels.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research and Analysis

Commission and undertake market research into customer preferences, competitors and the hospitality and corporate catering markets.
Collect, analyse and interpret sales, point-of-sale, online-ordering, website, customer-feedback and campaign data to identify consumer patterns and preferences.
Interpret and predict current and future consumer trends and assess potential demand and market characteristics for new Nosh products and services.
Identify market opportunities for new and existing menu products, catering packages, customer segments, locations and sales channels.

Marketing Strategy and Business Growth

Prepare and implement marketing objectives, policies, strategies, campaign calendars and promotional programs across the Nosh group.
Plan, develop and organise advertising policies and campaigns that support Nosh’s sales and business-growth objectives.
Advise the Directors on advertising strategies and campaigns designed to reach target markets, create consumer awareness and effectively promote the attributes of Nosh’s products and services.
Develop marketing initiatives suited to each Nosh store’s customer base, location and trading patterns while maintaining a consistent group strategy.

Advertising and Campaign Management

Advise the Directors on advertising strategies and campaigns designed to reach target markets, create consumer awareness and promote Nosh’s products and services.
Plan and coordinate advertising and marketing campaigns for Nosh stores, seasonal offers, menu launches, online ordering and corporate and event catering.
Coordinate the production and placement of campaign materials involving artwork, copywriting, media scripting, photography, video, menu design and digital content within approved timeframes and budgets.

Digital and Brand Management

Manage Nosh’s marketing activities across its website, email, social media, online-ordering platforms and relevant third-party channels.
Maintain consistent Nosh brand positioning, messaging and marketing standards across the group’s stores, catering services and customer touchpoints.

Budget and Performance Management

Coordinate external designers, photographers, printers, digital providers, media suppliers and promotional partners.
Prepare and monitor marketing budgets, measure campaign outcomes and provide management with performance reports, insights and recommendations.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

Demonstrated experience developing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns
Strong market-research, analytical and commercial decision-making skills
Experience using sales, customer and digital-channel data to assess marketing performance
Practical experience managing digital marketing, websites, email campaigns and social media
Strong written and verbal communication skills
The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with operational and management teams
A strong understanding of brand consistency and customer-focused marketing
Experience in hospitality, food retail, catering or another multi-site consumer business will be highly regarded.

Pay: $85,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
