Assistant Operations Manager

Lavanda Cleaning Solutions Pty Ltd – Neutral Bay, Sydney

Full-Time | Monday to Friday

$65,000–$75,000 + Superannuation + Bonus Structure

Sponsorship opportunity available for the right candidate

Lavanda Cleaning Solutions is a growing Sydney-based cleaning company servicing residential, commercial and strata clients across the Northern Beaches, North Shore and surrounding areas.

We are looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused Assistant Operations Manager to support our day-to-day operations and help manage our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and support cleaning staff on a daily basis
*Organise staff schedules, rosters and last-minute replacements
Respond to staff questions and operational issues
Assist with recruitment, interviews, onboarding and staff performance management
Assist with hiring and termination processes when required
Help respond to client enquiries or service issues when needed
Monitor daily jobs and ensure services are running smoothly
Support management with general operational and administrative tasks
Help maintain service quality and company procedures

As Lavanda continues to grow, duties and responsibilities may change or expand depending on business requirements.

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in residential, commercial and/or strata cleaning is essential
Cleaning experience is important as you will need to understand the work, guide cleaners and help resolve practical issues
Fluent in English and Portuguese, speaking and writing.
Strong organisational and communication skills
Confident dealing with staff and managing different personalities
Able to work under pressure and solve problems quickly
Good computer skills and comfortable learning scheduling and management systems
Must hold a valid driver’s licence and be able to drive manula and atumatic cars
Reliable, professional and able to take initiative
Full training will be provided on all Lavanda systems, procedures and software.

Work Arrangement

The position will initially be five days per week from our Neutral Bay office. Once fully trained and established in the role, there may be the opportunity to work, up to two days per week from home, depending on operational requirements.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
