Join us as a Case Manager and Support Coordinator, and be part of something bigger.

What you’ll do

We are seeking two passionate individual's who will be working across the Adelaide Universal After-care Service, the Case Managers/Support Coordinators are responsible for providing non-clinical care and practical psychosocial support to individuals in the first three months following a suicide attempt or suicidal crisis.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position until 30th June 2027 based at Hindmarsh.

You’ll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:

Coordinating outreach/ home visits to provide practical and emotional support
Providing connection and referral to appropriate support services
Assisting clients and families in understanding suicidal behaviours
Developing clear goals with individuals and families and monitor achievements

What you’ll bring

To thrive in this role, you will have:

Tertiary qualifications in Social Work
Experience in the mental health field, or in case management
Effective communication skills and ability to engage with clients and families from a diverse range of backgrounds

We would also love you to have:

Experience working with families and individuals affected by suicide
Additional specialist training in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, motivational interviewing, or cognitive behaviour therapy
