About the opportunity
The University of Sydney Business School is seeking a highly organised Senior Administrative Officer to provide administrative support to a significant research project exploring the impact of AI in the workplace. Working as part of a collaborative research team, you will contribute to the smooth delivery of project activities through the coordination of meetings, stakeholder engagement, research administration and data management.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and supporting meaningful research with real-world impact.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Provide high-level administrative support, including inbox and correspondence management.
- Coordinate calendars, meetings, schedules and stakeholder communications.
- Assist with research administration and research data management activities.
Support the day-to-day operational and administrative requirements of the research project.

About You
- Previous experience in an administrative, executive support or project support role.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
- Experience within a university, research or higher education environment would be highly regarded.
An understanding of research administration processes or experience supporting research projects is desirable.
