<p style="text-align:left"><b>Date Posted:</b></p>2026-05-12<p style="text-align:left"><b>Country: </b></p>Australia<p style="text-align:left"><b>Location: </b></p>LOC7057: Unit 3 130 Frederick Street, Welland, Adelaide SA 5007, Australia<p></p><p>Come and join Otis today, and be part of the OTIS Family and Forbes 2025 World's Best Employers</p><p></p><h2>About you</h2><p>We are seeking a <b>Service Technician </b>based in<b> </b>the <b>Adelaide, South Australia.</b></p><p>In this role, you will work closely with other Installers, Electricians, Adjusters, Trade Assistants, Field Engineers, and Construction Coordinators.</p><ul><li><p>Permanent role</p></li><li><p>Adelaide portfolio</p></li><li><p>Reports to the Service Manager</p></li></ul><p></p><h2>Key Responsibilities for You</h2><ul><li><p>Performs Service and Maintenance work in accordance with relevant job procedures, technical articles, and operations manuals.</p></li><li><p>Stand by and provide after-call-back coverage as needed.</p></li><li><p>Identify process improvement opportunities and help facilitate continuous improvement to meet customer satisfaction.</p></li><li><p>Electrical and Mechanical training to apprentices and subcontractors.</p></li><li><p>Attend lift and escalator breakdowns and perform repairs and control modifications on lifts and escalators, including Re-roping, Hoisting, and Rigging.</p></li><li><p>Perform Upgrades and Repair work in accordance with all relevant Codes, including SAA Lift Code AS1735, and in accordance with the relevant Award and /or Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.</p></li><li><p>Liaise with customers and submit leads using Otis-provided applications.</p></li></ul><p></p><h2>Key working relationships - Internally and Externally</h2><ul><li><p>Works closely with the Field Engineers, Service Mechanics, and Branch and Operations Managers.</p></li><li><p>Liaises with functional management at other Otis entities and headquarters.</p></li><li><p>Represents the Company's relationships with major customers, suppliers, and the public.</p></li><li><p>Sales Team: Sales Account Representatives, Managers, and Coordinators (where relevant).</p></li><li><p>External stakeholders include Customers, Building Owners, Managers, Independent and Government Agencies, Unions, Consultants, and Suppliers.</p></li></ul><p></p><h2>What You Will Need To Be Successful</h2><ul><li><p>Have an Electrical license or a Cert III in Electrotechnology</p></li><li><p>Hold a valid driver's license.</p></li><li><p>Minimum five (5) years’ experience within the Lift Industry.</p></li><li><p>Extensive Electrical and Mechanical knowledge across large equipment and the ability to perform knowledge transfer on information and skills through training.</p></li><li><p>Has the ability to perform knowledge transfer on information and skills through training and demonstrated fault-finding and problem-solving skills.</p></li><li><p>Good English language skills, both verbal and written</p></li><li><p>Intermediate knowledge and experience using technology including mobile communications, applications, and other computer-based systems (Word, Excel, Email, Internet).</p></li><li><p>A committed professional, with safety as priority</p></li><li><p>Has attention to detail and is results-driven, curious, adaptable, and able to work well alone or in a team</p></li></ul><p></p><h2>Benefits</h2><ul><li><p>You will receive a long-term employment contract with the world market leader in a crisis-proof industry.</p></li><li><p>36 hours per week work and we offer you remuneration in accordance with local EBA</p></li><li><p>We will train you intensively in the areas of technology, processes & soft skills and you can exchange ideas with experienced colleagues at any time.</p></li><li><p>You will receive modern and high-quality work clothes, your own tools, an iPhone and a tool of trade (depending on coverage area)</p></li></ul><p></p><h2>Apply today and help us build what's next.</h2><p></p><p>If you live in a city, chances are we will give you a lift or play a role in keeping you moving every day. </p><p></p><p>Otis is the world’s leading elevator and escalator manufacturing, installation, and service company.
