We're looking for an experienced Safety Advisor to join our team at our Nyngan mine operation on an 8/6 roster. This is a FIFO opportunity from Brisbane, offering a rewarding site-based safety role with an established contractor.

The Opportunity
As a Safety Advisor, you'll play a key role in supporting site leadership to maintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with legislative and company requirements. Working closely with operational teams, you'll provide practical safety guidance, coach frontline leaders, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across site.

About You
You are a proactive safety professional who enjoys building strong relationships and influencing positive safety outcomes. You have experience working in mining or heavy industry and are confident engaging with people at all levels of the business.

You'll also bring:

Previous experience in a Safety Advisor or HSE role within mining, civil or heavy industry
Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum)
Sound understanding of NSW WHS legislation and risk management principles
Strong incident investigation and reporting skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Current Australian Driver's Licence
ICAM (or equivalent investigation training) will be highly regarded
Current First Aid qualifications are advantageous
