Southern Psychologists is seeking a Registered or Clinical Psychologist to join our private psychology practice in Hackham.
This is a permanent employee position between 0.6 and 1.0 FTE. Working days are negotiable, with practice hours from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Registered Psychologist
$100,000–$130,000 FTE + 12% superannuation
Clinical Psychologist
$125,000–$140,000 FTE + 12% superannuation
Salaries are full-time equivalent and paid pro rata according to the agreed FTE.

We believe psychologists do their best work when they have autonomy over their caseload and are supported to develop their own clinical interests.
The role primarily involves evidence-based psychological therapy. Assessment opportunities are also available according to your qualifications, experience and interests. These may include:
- Cognitive Assessments
- Psychoeducational Assessments
- ADHD Assessments
- Functional Capacity Assessments
Experience in psychological assessment is welcomed. Training and support are available for psychologists interested in developing these skills.

Southern Psychologists is a collaborative, locally owned practice supporting clients across Adelaide's southern suburbs. Our clinicians provide therapy and psychological assessments across neurodivergence, emotional and behavioural concerns, trauma, perinatal mental health, disability and general mental health.

About you
You will have:
- General registration as a psychologist with AHPRA
- Eligibility for a Medicare provider number
- Current professional indemnity insurance that meets Psychology Board requirements
- Experience delivering evidence-based psychological interventions
- The ability to work independently while recognising when consultation is appropriate
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Unrestricted Australian working rights
- A current Working with Children Check (or the ability to obtain one)
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or the ability to obtain one)
- A current National Police Check (or the ability to obtain one)
Clinical psychology endorsement is welcomed but not required.
Experience in private practice, NDIS, or working across the lifespan is desirable. Psychology Board-approved supervisor status is also desirable but not essential.
