Anchovy

Looking for someone with good chat and service ethos, interest in food and wine, to join our dining room team

Work with a tight team, great customers, good banter, great service
Variety in work across two venues, side by side
Strong culture amongst the team, esp. around the advocacy of South East Asian cuisine and heritage

We are looking for someone to join our dining room team. If you can hustle, talk food and wine, engage in general banter, have an eye for detail and work in a smaller team then this role is for you!

The role -

Is a part-time role - 15 to 20 hours a week, Friday and Saturday night are a must.
For the right person, it could grow into a 30 to 35 hour role with more responsibilities
Involves a bit of everything from setting up and running food through packing down and friendly customer banter in between
Encourages customer banter while we get on with it
Does ask for an eye for detail and an ability to multi-task
Requires you to be available for dinner services, Fridays and Saturdays are must
Offers the opportunity to work with bookings, suppliers and guest liaison via email
Enables you to work alongside career hospitality professionals - we care about what we do and we hope you do, too

Have an interest in the Melbourne dining and wine scene
Enjoy the cuisines of Asia and especially of Vietnam
Can work for more than 6 months with a single employer
Can work autonomously, in an dynamic (read: ever-changing) environment, in a small team
