Purpose of the Role
BGIS is seeking an experienced Compliance & Reporting Manager to support contract compliance, performance reporting and continuous improvement across a diverse property and facilities management portfolio.
Reporting directly to the Account Manager, you will work collaboratively with BGIS teams, client representatives and external stakeholders to provide accurate reporting, monitor performance against key requirements and support compliance across operational activities.
The ideal candidate will be an organised and detail-focused professional who enjoys working collaboratively, analysing information and improving processes. You will have a genuine interest in learning, building positive relationships and contributing to a supportive team environment where communication and shared success are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Collate, analyse and prepare monthly client reports covering property management, maintenance, minor works and project activities against agreed KPIs.
- Prepare internal compliance reports to support operational teams in monitoring performance and meeting contract requirements.
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting activities by providing accurate performance and operational insights.
- Provide guidance and technical support regarding building compliance obligations and relevant requirements.
- Review policies, procedures and documentation, recommending updates where required to maintain compliance.
- Monitor compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, codes and standards, including safety, quality and environmental requirements.
- Support accurate reporting across team performance, operational activities and compliance outcomes.
- Build positive relationships with internal teams, client representatives, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support consistent service delivery across the portfolio.
Education, Experience & Skills
Essential:
- Demonstrated experience within a building, property, corporate real estate or facilities management environment.
- Strong understanding of compliance requirements, including OH&S, quality assurance and ideally environmental legislation and systems.
- Experience analysing data, preparing reports and presenting information to stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Tertiary qualifications in Property, Engineering, Project Management or a similar discipline.
Desirable:
- Experience within a reporting, governance or compliance-focused role.
- Experience supporting government or large-scale property portfolios.
- Strong business understanding and financial awareness within operational environments.
- Knowledge of facilities management systems and reporting platforms.
