The Position

The Calile Hotel currently has two exciting full-time Supervisor opportunities available within our Food & Beverage team:

Restaurant Supervisor – leading daily restaurant operations and creating memorable dining experiences through exceptional service and team leadership.
Conference & Events Supervisor – overseeing the successful delivery of meetings, conferences, private events and special occasions throughout the hotel.

These roles offer the opportunity to combine operational expertise with team leadership, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining The Calile’s renowned service standards.

As a Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading daily operations, supporting and developing team members, and maintaining the highest standards of service, presentation and compliance. This is a hands-on leadership position where you will lead by example, foster a positive team culture, and contribute to the continued success of one of Australia’s most celebrated hotels.

About you

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory role within a luxury hotel, premium restaurant, events venue or similar hospitality environment
Demonstrated experience supervising teams and leading successful service periods or events
Strong understanding of food and beverage operations and guest service excellence
Exceptional communication and leadership skills
Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment
Sound understanding of food safety, workplace health and safety and liquor licensing requirements
A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management (desirable)
Full availability across a 7-day rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
