Introduction:
Love creating content that makes a difference?

We're looking for a creative, organised and enthusiastic graduate or early-career professional to join our team as a Social Media & Communications Coordinator. Available on a full-time or part-time basis, this role is based at our Head Office in Manly QLD.

This is a rare opportunity to gain hands-on experience in communications and marketing while building a portfolio of real work with a nationally recognised organisation.

Every day, you'll help tell stories that showcase the positive impact our practitioners have on the lives of people with disability and their support networks across Australia, both internally and externally.

What You'll Be Doing

Creating engaging content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and other digital channels.

Designing graphics, videos, reels and other visual content.

Writing blogs, newsletters, recruitment campaigns and internal communications.

Managing content calendars and scheduling posts.

Monitoring engagement and reporting on content performance.

Supporting events, conferences and community initiatives.

Showcasing the meaningful work our practitioners do every day.

Collaborating with leaders on communication and brand initiatives.

Skills and Experiences:
What We're Looking For

While this is a graduate and early-career opportunity, we're looking for someone who already has a strong foundation in content creation, social media and digital communications.

You might be:
A graduate in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media or a related field.

A strong writer with a passion for storytelling and content creation.

Confident creating engaging content using Canva, social media platforms and digital tools.

A self-starter who can work autonomously, manage their time effectively and take ownership of tasks.

Creative and proactive, with the confidence to contribute ideas and drive initiatives independently.

Passionate about creating content that makes an impact.

Bonus Points If You've

Managed social media accounts.

Created video content, reels or digital campaigns.

Completed internships, university projects or volunteer work in marketing, communications or content creation.
