Reporting to the Head of PHI Growth, you'll lead a high-performing team of marketers while also leading delivery through a cross-functional growth squad comprising digital, design and marketing disciplines. You will leverage agile ways of working to align teams around customer and commercial outcomes, unlock new growth opportunities, accelerate experimentation, optimise customer experiences and deliver measurable commercial growth outcomes.

We're looking for a strategic thinker who can champion new ideas and help scale initiatives such as Local Area Marketing and partnerships to unlock future growth.

What you'll be doing

Lead Medibank’s acquisition strategy that differentiates our brand and drives prospect growth
Lead go-to-market strategies for new products, propositions and growth opportunities
Lead end-to-end acquisition strategy across paid, owned and organic channels, optimising media investment, content and SEO to drive sustainable prospect growth and maximise commercial outcomes.
Build and scale Local Area Marketing and strategic partnership programs to generate demand and reach new audiences
Use customer, market and performance insights to optimise investment, acquisition performance and ROI
Lead, coach and empower a high-performing team while fostering an agile, test-and-learn mindset

About you

You'll be a commercially minded marketing leader with a strong track record of driving customer acquisition and business growth.

You'll bring:

Significant experience in acquisition marketing, media strategy, customer journeys and performance optimisation.
A proven ability to drive demand across multiple channels, including digital, retail and contact centre environments
Experience developing partnerships, local marketing programs or innovative growth initiatives beyond traditional media
Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen and an outcomes-focused mindset
Experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams
The adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and pivot quickly when priorities change
Experience leading cross-functional squads or agile teams within a complex matrix organisation highly desirable.
Experience in retail-led or consumer-focused environments such as telecommunications, financial services or health insurance will be highly regarded.
