Full Job Description

Seoul Garden Docklands – Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Seoul Garden Docklands.

Key Responsibilities

As a Supervisor, you will be expected to have a strong understanding of all front-of-house operations, including:

Floor

Deliver exceptional customer service.
Thorough understanding of our menu, buffet, and BBQ concepts.
Manage floor operations during service.
Complete opening and closing procedures.

Bar

Prepare and serve beverages according to company standards.
Understand our drinks menu and ingredients.
Complete bar opening and closing procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and stock levels.

Reception

Manage bookings and seating arrangements.
Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally.
Process payments and reservations.
Complete reception opening and closing procedures.

Requirements

Minimum 2 year of Management experience or demonstrated leadership/management experience in hospitality.
Strong knowledge of all front-of-house operations, including Floor, Bar, and Reception.
English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.5 or above (or excellent spoken and written English).
Available to work a minimum of 4 full days per week, including at least 3 weekdays.
Good understanding of dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal, and food allergies.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong multitasking and organisational skills.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Able to handle customer complaints and operational issues calmly and professionally.
Able to work efficiently under pressure with a strong sense of urgency.
Excellent observation and attention to detail.
A positive, optimistic attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
A reliable team player who leads by example and supports colleagues.
Flexible and willing to assist across all areas of the restaurant when required.
Willing to travel to Seoul Garden Highpoint for training and cross-training when required.

Training & Promotion

Successful applicants will begin a 2-month Supervisor Training Program before their official promotion. During this period, you will receive hands-on training across all front-of-house sections, including Floor, Bar, and Reception, to ensure you gain a comprehensive understanding of our operations, procedures, and service standards.

Training may be conducted at both Seoul Garden Docklands and Seoul Garden Highpoint, depending on operational requirements. Your knowledge, performance, leadership, and competency across all sections will be assessed throughout the training period.

Upon successfully completing the program and meeting our performance expectations, you will be officially promoted to the Supervisor position and a chance at promotion to Assistant Manager.
