Full Job Description

Seafolly is looking for a Payroll Manager to manage the end-to-end payroll process for Seafolly, JETS and Tigerlily, and ensure payroll and data compliance.

Based in our Alexandria, NSW Support Centre, this role offers a flexible hybrid work model, with four days in the office and one day working remotely each week.

You will:

Manage end-to-end payroll operations across Australia, including Head Office and retail stores, with coordination of international payroll providers in Singapore, USA, UK, Germany, and the Netherlands.
Maintain payroll systems, employee records, reporting, and time and attendance platforms to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Process payroll-related payments including bonuses (STI/LTI), retail sales incentives, parental leave, and garnishee deductions.
Ensure payroll compliance through PAYG and STP lodgements, Modern Award interpretation, and adherence to the General Retail Industry Award (GRIA).
Act as the payroll system subject matter expert, maintaining employee data quality and delivering payroll system training to employees and stakeholders.
Provide payroll reporting, analysis, and compliance support, including BOOT assessments, WGEA reporting, and remuneration review preparation.
Partner with managers and retail teams to resolve timesheet and roster discrepancies, support payroll budgeting, and identify potential payroll risks.
Complete payroll-related balance sheet reconciliations, drive payroll process improvement initiatives, and provide broader HR administration support.

You have:

Extensive end-to-end payroll experience with strong payroll processing expertise.
Subject matter expert in Modern Awards, particularly the General Retail Industry Award (GRIA).
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills for payroll analysis and reporting.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and ability to work independently.
Proactive, curious, and confident in questioning anomalies or raising concerns.
Experience partnering closely with Finance and HR teams, including standalone payroll environments.
Additional expertise in Clerical and Storage Awards, with Power BI, Tanda, and employee data analysis experience highly regarded.
