The Technology Coordinator will be responsible for developing, maintaining and supporting Monash Tech School technology assets and infrastructure. The Tech Coordinator will also be required to research, test and integrate technologies into school programs, exposing staff to many new and cutting-edge technologies, including iOS App development, IOT devices, web design and programming, and 3D printing and laser cutting.

Key responsibilities:

Coordination of assets and technologies to support Tech School operations.

Maintenance of technology operating procedures, guidelines and standards.

Maintenance of Tech School assets and digital technologies.

Collaborating with program and product development teams to design new student programs and develop supporting digital technologies.

Assisting staff with the use of technologies

Supports the facilitation of small groups of students in the use of technologies

Supporting professional placement students

Development of bespoke digital technologies

Assisting with technology procurement and administration

Creation of Equipment Risk Assessments and Safe Work Procedures to ensure adherence to OHS requirements.
