Horizon Power is seeking a Generation Technician (Electrical or Mechanical) to join our team in the stunning East Kimberley. This is your chance to take on meaningful, hands-on work while living in one of Australia’s most unique and breathtaking regions.

What You’ll Do:
You’ll play a major role in keeping our generation assets performing at their best. Your work will include:

Keeping power reliable: Operating and maintaining diesel generation assets to high safety and performance standards.
Hands-on technical work: Delivering maintenance activities and providing operational support across multiple communities.
Performance optimisation: Ensuring asset performance meets Horizon Power’s operational objectives.
Future-focused work: Contributing to the development of generation asset management plans.
Safe and skilled operations: Carrying out switching, isolations and permitting activities.

What You’ll Bring:
We’re looking for people who want to get stuck in, solve problems, and thrive in regional operations.
You’ll have:

A relevant Australian Electrical or Mechanical Trade Qualification.
WA Electrical Workers Licence (if electrical).
Strong experience in maintaining and operating reciprocating diesel power stations.
A solid understanding of generation systems and a commitment to safety.
Experience with maintenance planning, scheduling and work order management in a utility or generation environment.
