About the Role
Reporting to the Superintendent Electrical, the successful candidate will work a 5:2 roster and coordinate the Electrical Shutdown team to safely deliver planned maintenance and shutdown activities across the Greenbushes Lithium Operation. Working closely with maintenance teams and contractors, you will play a key role in ensuring shutdowns are completed safely, efficiently and within budget while maintaining high standards of workmanship and compliance.
Responsibilities include:
coordinating electrical shutdown activities across the processing plants;
leading and supervising employees and contract personnel during planned shutdowns;
allocating resources and coordinating work to meet shutdown schedules;
participating in shutdown planning and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives;
ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently and within budget;
monitoring shutdown performance and reporting on key outcomes and KPIs;
supporting the development and performance of the Electrical Shutdown team; and
promoting compliance with statutory requirements, company procedures and Talison's safety standards.
About the Candidate:
an Electrical Trade Certificate and unrestricted A Grade Electrical Workers Licence;
a minimum of five years' post-trade experience within the mineral processing industry;
demonstrated experience coordinating plant shutdowns or major maintenance activities;
strong leadership, communication and team development skills;
experience using computerised maintenance management systems and maintenance planning software;
sound understanding of budgeting, cost control and contractor management;
the ability to interpret technical drawings and electrical standards;
a current C Class Driver's Licence; and
a High Voltage Switching Operator's Certificate and Cert IV in Instrumentation (highly regarded).
