What will your typical day look like?
As a MuleSoft Tech Lead, you'll own the technical direction of integration solutions from design through to delivery. On a typical day you will:
Lead the end-to-end design of API-led connectivity solutions on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, defining architecture patterns, integration standards and reusable assets.
Translate complex business and client requirements into scalable, secure and resilient integration designs across on-premise and cloud environments.
Provide hands-on technical leadership to a team of MuleSoft developers — guiding solution design, conducting code and design reviews, and setting best practice for CI/CD, testing and deployment.
Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts and client stakeholders to align integration solutions with broader enterprise and cloud strategies.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, and make key decisions on performance, scalability, error handling and security.
Mentor and uplift the capability of the team, sharing knowledge and helping engineers grow their MuleSoft expertise.
Contribute to proposals, effort estimation and solution shaping as part of pursuits and delivery planning.

You're an experienced integration professional with deep expertise in the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and a passion for leading teams to deliver quality outcomes. You likely bring:
Extensive hands-on experience designing and delivering integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API-led connectivity and API design (RAML/OpenAPI).
Strong command of Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, DataWeave, connectors and the broader Anypoint ecosystem.
Proven experience leading technical teams — mentoring developers, running design and code reviews, and setting engineering standards.
Solid understanding of integration patterns, microservices, event-driven architecture, messaging (e.g. JMS, Kafka, AMQP) and RESTful and SOAP web services.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing (e.g. MUnit), containerisation and deploying to CloudHub and/or hybrid environments.
A good grasp of security standards including OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS and API security best practice.
MuleSoft certifications (e.g. MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect or Platform Architect) — highly regarded.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for varied audiences.
Experience across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) — desirable.
