Who we are
We’re a bold team with a bright future; and we’re looking for people who want to be part of it.
Evolution Mining is a premier global gold company operating six mines across Australia and Canada. We’re transforming mines and uplifting careers. We’ve extended the mine life of our Ernest Henry Operations to 2040 and doubled its ore reserves. We took our Cowal Gold Operations underground in just seven years. We’re transforming our Red Lake Operations, restoring it as a premier Canadian gold mine. That kind of ambition creates careers, not just jobs.
When we asked our people what they enjoy most about working at Evolution, two things came up across every site: career growth and the quality of the people. Here, you’ll work alongside people who care, who push one another to be better, with leaders who are there to support you.
What’s the opportunity?
We’ve boldly reimagined our future at Mungari. We’re growing and investing in what’s ahead. There’s now an opportunity for an Underground Senior Shift Supervisor who wants to grow with us and lead crews in an operation that’s building momentum. Step into a key leadership role where you'll have a direct impact on safety, production and performance across our underground mining operation. As Senior Supervisor - Underground, you'll lead frontline supervisors and crews, drive the execution of the mining plan, and play a critical role in delivering results while maintaining the highest safety standards. This is an opportunity to join a growing operation with a strong future and help shape the way underground mining is delivered at Mungari. This position will be on an 8:6 dayshift only roster FIFO from Perth or Residential Kalgoorlie.
Based at our Mungari Operations and reporting to the Superintendent - Mining Operations, you'll:
- Lead underground supervisors and crews to safely execute the mining plan and achieve production targets.
- Drive a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with all safety systems, procedures and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate personnel, equipment and resources to maximise productivity and minimise downtime.
- Partner with technical, maintenance, geology and support teams to deliver operational objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Review schedules, monitor performance, manage workforce requirements and provide clear communication on operational priorities and results.
Why Mungari Operations?
Mungari is a cornerstone asset in our portfolio, with a mine life to at least 2038. It’s operationally diverse, with opportunities to work on the surface or underground and a great team of people who care. Our recent expansion of the processing plant has more than doubled processing capacity from 2 million to 4.2 million tonnes per year. With open pit and processing all on one site, the operational diversity is ideal for uplifting careers.
What suits your lifestyle best? We offer drive-in, drive-out (DIDO) and fly-in, fly-out (FIFO) rosters at Mungari. You choose. Live local in the world-class mining community and enjoy our competitive live-local incentives and allowances. Or choose FIFO and enjoy the camaraderie and benefits that village life offers.
The future here is bright; you could be part of it.
