Our 3-2-1 Hybrid Working Model

3 days from anywhere in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand per week,
2 days from an RACP office location per week,
1 of the two days per week in office spent with your team.

Job Description

About the Role

This position sits within the Training Accreditation Services team, which oversees accreditation for Basic and Advanced Training programs across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

The purpose of the role is to provide operational and administrative support to delivery of the accreditation program, support implementation of strategic initiatives, maintain compliance with RACP policies and procedures, and develop resources and training to support internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

Provide guidance on accreditation processes and ensure adherence to accreditation standards
Collaborate with committees to facilitate effective governance
Coordinate administrative functions including compiling reports, distributing documentation, and organising site visits.
Support a range of stakeholders including training providers, trainees, supervisors, and Directors of Paediatric/Physician Education.
Maintain accurate and transparent communications to ensure stakeholders have access to reliable information.
Contribute to projects, policy development, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accreditation operations.
Provide administrative and secretariat support to committees and working groups.

While this position is casual with an anticipated end date of December 2026, there may be opportunities for high-performing employees to transition into fixed-term or permanent roles, subject to organisational needs and the availability of suitable positions. The role is full-time, working 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility in working hours.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

Business and/or Administration qualifications or demonstrated equivalent experience, knowledge and skills
Strong organisational and multitasking skills with demonstrated attention to detail and ability to achieve work objectives in a timely manner
Demonstrated experience in delivering professional client and secretariat services, including high level written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with a range of external and internal stakeholders
Experience improving and monitoring administrative processes
Ability to negotiate and influence
Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
Ability to work independently and collaborate within a professional team
Proven experience in problem solving and analytical skills
IT Capabilities: Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and video/teleconferencing platforms
