The Opportunity
Our Centre in Clifton Beach has an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Trainee Educator to join our incredible team!
As an integral part of the Mayfield team, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and educational environment for the children in our care, all while studying your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care
Your main responsibilities will include:

Ensuring child safety & wellbeing using your active supervision skills.

Collaborating with the team on age-appropriate curriculum implementation.
- Providing personalised attention, addressing unique learning styles and needs of the children in our care.

Guiding behaviour through positive reinforcement for social and emotional development.

Maintaining open communication with parents about a child's progress and concerns.

Actively participating in team meetings for a cohesive approach to early childhood education.
- Fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere embracing diverse backgrounds in a culturally sensitive manner.
You
-
Willingness to study your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care;
-
Willingness to obtain a Blue Card if not already obtained;
-
Child protection / Red Nose / Food Safety training (or willing to obtain);
Passion for the Early Childhood sector - you will enjoy communicating with and building trusted relationships with children, their families, your teammates and the wider community.
