<p style="text-align:left"><b>Date Posted:</b></p>2026-04-23<p style="text-align:left"><b>Country: </b></p>Australia<p style="text-align:left"><b>Location: </b></p>LOC7060: Level 4, 19 Lang Parade, Milton, QLD 4064<p></p><p>We are seeking a<span> </span><b>Lift Technician </b>based in <b>Brisbane, Queensland.</b></p><p>In this role, you will work closely with other Electricians, Field Engineers, Fitters, Adjusters, Trade Assistants.</p><ul><li><p>Permanent role</p></li><li><p>Brisbane portfolio</p></li><li><p>Reports to Service Manager</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b> Key Responsibilities for You</b></p><ul><li><p>Performs Service repairs, Maintenance minor upgrade work in accordance with relevant job procedures, technical articles, and operations manuals.</p></li><li><p>Attend lift and escalator breakdowns and perform repairs and control modifications on lifts and escalators, including Re-roping, Hoisting, and Rigging.</p></li><li><p>Stand by and provide after-call-back coverage as needed.</p></li><li><p>Identify process improvement opportunities and help facilitate continuous improvement to meet customer satisfaction.</p></li><li><p>Support apprentices and subcontractors with Electrical and Mechanical training</p></li><li><p>Perform Upgrades and Repair work in accordance with all relevant Codes, including SAA Lift Code AS1735, and in accordance with the relevant Award and /or Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.</p></li><li><p>Liaise with customers and submit leads using Otis-provided applications.</p></li><li><p>Works closely with the Field Engineers, other Service Mechanics, and Branch and Operations Managers.</p></li><li><p>Represents the Company's relationships with customers, suppliers, and the public.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b> What You Will Need To Be Successful</b></p><ul><li><p>Have an Electrical license or a Cert III in Electrotechnology</p></li><li><p>Hold a valid driver's license.</p></li><li><p>Minimum five (5) years’ experience within the Lift Industry.</p></li><li><p>Extensive Electrical and Mechanical knowledge across large equipment and the ability to perform knowledge transfer on information and skills through training.</p></li><li><p>Has the ability to perform knowledge transfer on information and skills through training and demonstrated fault-finding and problem-solving skills.</p></li><li><p>Good English language skills, both verbal and written</p></li><li><p>Intermediate knowledge and experience using technology including mobile communications, applications, and other computer-based systems (Word, Excel, Email, Internet).</p></li><li><p>A committed professional, with safety as priority</p></li><li><p>Detailed oriented and is results-driven,</p></li><li><p>Curious, adaptable, and able to work well alone or in a team</p></li></ul><p><br />Apply today to join us and build what’s next!.</p><p>If you live in a city, chances are we will give you a lift or play a role in keeping you moving every day. </p><p></p><p>Otis is the world’s leading elevator and escalator manufacturing, installation, and service company.
