An opportunity exists for a physically fit, versatile handy person to join our team at our Depot located in Kenwick! The successful applicant must be an all-rounder willing to assist in ensuring the grounds and maintenance of the Depot are of a high standard.

To be considered for this position, you must show you have had experience in a similar role.

Your Duties Include

Container Unpacking.
Grounds Keeping;
Use of the Yard Sweeper;
Rubbish removal;
Pressure cleaning and hosing;
Undertake routine repairs, cleaning and maintenance of the facilities;
General skill set for maintenance work required;
Manual handling of freight;
General property maintenance;
Following safe operating procedures and complying with company policy.

To Be Considered for This Role.

Forklift Licence (highly desirable)
Experience in Transport and Logistics is highly regarded.
Be relatively fit as manual handling is required;
Honest, reliable, prompt and punctual;
Can work independently with minimal supervision;
Experience in general maintenance type roles – Trades background will be highly regarded;
Ability to read and write and understand units of measure;
Have your own car licence, suitable vehicle and tools;
WH&S White card – preferable;
Basic administration skills;
Be flexible and accept changes to days of work and be available to work additional days if required;
Have a commitment to safe work practices.
