The Role - What You’ll Do
Working closely with studio leadership, creatives, and fellow developers, you'll play a key role in developing original games from concept through launch using Unreal Engine 5. You will develop and maintain gameplay systems, writing clean, scalable C++ and Blueprint code. You will collaborate across disciplines to deliver engaging player experiences, optimize game performance across target platforms, and contribute to technical architecture. From prototyping to polishing, you will help establish the technical foundations of our client's brand-new games division.
What You Bring - Key Skills & Traits
Essential
- 4+ years of professional game development experience
- Strong experience developing games in Unreal Engine 5
- Advanced proficiency with C++ and Blueprints
- Solid understanding of game architecture, systems design, and engineering best practices
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Desirable
- Experience shipping games on PC, console, or mobile
- Multiplayer or online game development experience
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git or Perforce
- Experience building internal tools, pipelines, or development workflows
- Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies
- A proactive attitude and a genuine interest in animation, gaming communities, or internet culture
