What will your typical day look like?
You will bring a strong balance of strategic thinking, communication, security risk and broad technical experience, which will enable you to engage at all levels of an organisation in relation to cyber security risk, strategy and strategy. You will assist organisations with a wide range of security advisory services, including threat and risk analysis, security architecture and security program delivery. You will work within a driven and diverse team who are passionate about helping organisations to uplift their cyber capabilities and address complex emerging cyber issues.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Managing and executing engagements relating to a range of services, such as security architecture advice, cyber risk assessments, development of cyber strategies, and implementing cyber solutions.
Working within small local and national project teams
Demonstrating problem solving, critical thinking and logical structuring skills
Applying knowledge of industry cyber trends to provide advice on technology solutions for managing cyber risk
Ongoing personal learning and awareness of cyber trends and solutions
Enabling and inspiring the growth of team members through coaching, mentoring and performance management.
About the team
As part of the Australian Deloitte Cyber practice of over 500 people our Adelaide team provides a wide range of advisory and implementation services relating to cyber strategy and transformation, security architecture, security operations advisory, and security testing. We collaborate closely with other teams within Technology & Transformation to provide secure end-to-end outcomes for clients.

We are seeking professionals who can demonstrate required cyber expertise matched with the following:
Broad experience and knowledge in designing, implementing and optimising cyber security capabilities
Experience in assessing cyber risk and security control design for a wide range of technology solutions and processes
Knowledge of relevant cyber trends, practices and standards combined with a strong passion for ongoing self development
Experience leading small teams and coaching junior staff
Ability to provide insight based on experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Certification(s) to credentialise your experience, such as CISSP, CISM, ISA62443 or vendor certifications – along with the motivation to keep learning more
Ability to lead multiple engagements concurrently
