This position is ideal for Security Officers who take pride in responsibility, situational awareness, and delivering high-quality service. You will be actively involved in maintaining safety, protecting assets, and ensuring smooth operations across a variety of sites.
Please note that this role requires a valid NSW 1A Security Licence, held for a minimum of 12 months. (GSP does not require a minimum 12 months).
Full-time roles are available in the Sydney CBD, Centennial Park (GSP), and Homebush. Casual roles are available across the Sydney CBD and Greater Sydney.
This is an outdoors role where you are the public face of the organisation. If you enjoy being trusted with responsibility, making decisions on the ground, and contributing to a safe environment, this role is a chance to showcase your skills and take ownership of your professional performance. High-performing Officers have the opportunity to progress into senior roles, including Shift Supervisor, Patrol Supervisor, or Control Room Operator.
Patrols & Site Security

Provide high-quality visitor and security services in accordance with client requirements and internal standards
-
Protect physical assets through regular pedestrian and vehicle patrols
-
Observe facilities to reduce risk and maintain public safety
-
Monitor and guide the behaviour of people in public and private spaces
-
Manage facility access control.
Technology & Reporting
-
Operate and utilise ACESGroup’s technology platforms to support site safety and reporting
-
Maintain accurate records and complete reports through digital systems
-
Prepare general security records and reports.
Customer Service & Response
-
Deliver excellent visitor customer service, including direction and information
-
Respond to incidents as a first responder
-
Collaborate with team members and management to enhance operational efficiency.

Applicants must have:

NSW 1A Security Licence, held for at least 12 months

Current First Aid and CPR

Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Competency Card

Customer service experience

Superior written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster

Ability to pass an LLND (Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital) test
