With a dedicated team of over 300 employees, our headquarters in Gillman and regional depots in Port Augusta, Whyalla, Port Pirie, Kadina, Clare, Berri, and Victor Harbor enable us to provide next-day express freight services throughout South Australia, including both metropolitan and regional areas, as well as to Broken Hill and Mildura.

About the position:

Full-time | Monday to Friday | Night shift (approximately 9:00 pm – 5:00 am), with varied start and finish times to meet operational requirements.
13.5% Superannuation
30% Night Shift Loading

We are seeking a Night Forklift Operator to efficiently manage the distribution of freight within our Port Augusta Depot. The position is responsible for loading, unloading trucks, sorting and staging consignments from receival through to dispatch.

Additionally, the Forklift Operator will manage inbound and outbound freight, report damaged goods, consolidate pallets for return and complete daily pre-start activities and vehicle checks to ensure safe and effective operations.

About you:

A current High Risk Forklift (LF) License.
A current Multi Combination (MC) Driver License (essential).
Experience operating forklifts in a logistics or transport environment.
Knowledge and practice of Chain of Responsibility obligations and safe manual handling.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and team collaboration.
Attention to detail with accuracy in handling freight.
Good reading and comprehension skills.
Effective communication skills and ability to manage time priorities.
