We are seeking an experienced Marine Supervisor to lead our Bed Levelling, Dredging and Survey vessel team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising marine crews, coordinating daily operations, and ensuring all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high operational standard.

You will:

Supervise the day-to-day operations of bed levelling, dredging, and survey vessels.
Lead and mentor commercial vessel crews, promoting a strong safety culture.
Coordinate work schedules and operational priorities.
Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, contractors, and port users to ensure efficient delivery of marine services.
Participate in incident investigations, risk assessments, and safety meetings.

Operationally focused, effective and great with people: here’s who we’re looking for.

Demonstrated experience supervising commercial vessel crews in a safe and productive operational environment.
Strong operational knowledge with the ability to plan, prioritise and coordinate marine activities while maintaining compliance and service delivery standards.
Master <24 m Certificate of Competency and MED 3 qualification preferred, together with relevant high-risk work licences and experience.
Proven leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across crews and the broader business.
A proactive problem solver who can make sound operational decisions, manage competing priorities and drive continuous improvement.
Good understanding of maritime legislation, Safety Management Systems (SMS) and risk management practices, with a demonstrated safety-first mindset.
Experience in bed levelling and/or dredging operations will be highly regarded.
