What you’ll be doing:
As the Group Accounting Services Manager, you will lead the governance and integrity of the Group's Fixed Asset Register, Lease Accounting Module, leased aircraft provision models and cash management activities. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls and driving compliance with relevant accounting standards. Working closely with an offshore accounting team, you will provide leadership, oversight and support to deliver high-quality outcomes, promote process consistency and enhance operational efficiency. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines technical accounting expertise with day-to-day operational execution, enabling the delivery of reliable financial information and continuous improvement across accounting processes.
This is a 4 month and 2 week maximum term parental leave opportunity ideally starting on 20 July 2026.
You’ll be great in this role if you:
- Hold a degree in Business, Commerce or a related discipline with CPA or CA qualifications
- Have a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing finance teams
- Demonstrate strong experience driving change, process improvement and operational excellence within a finance function
- Build effective relationships across diverse stakeholder groups and provide trusted financial advice and support
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing competing priorities and tight deadlines
- Bring strong analytical thinking, commercial acumen and a proactive, solutions focused approach
- Demonstrate resilience and adaptability in a dynamic and evolving business environment
- Possess advanced Excel capabilities and strong systems proficiency, including extensive experience using ERP platforms
- Have a deep understanding of accounting principles, standards and financial governance requirements
- Bring extensive post qualification experience within a large corporate or ASX listed organisation, ideally operating in a complex business environment (desirable)
- Advanced experience with Oracle Financials (desirable)
