We're looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager who is passionate about winning new business, opening doors and creating opportunities. Working alongside an experienced leadership team, you'll build meaningful relationships with executive decision-makers, grow our brand, expand our client portfolio, and help shape the next phase of Bailey Abbott's growth. Key Responsibilities

Drive new business growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing opportunities.
Win new client logos while growing and expanding existing client relationships.
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
Represent Bailey Abbott in the market, increasing brand awareness through industry events, networking, and community engagement.
Develop trusted relationships with executive decision-makers and position Bailey Abbott as a valued consulting partner.
Promote Bailey Abbott's capabilities across Digital Transformation, Data Intelligence and Technology Consulting, matching client needs with the right consulting expertise.
Lead commercial discussions, prepare proposals, and negotiate successful outcomes that create long-term partnerships.
Collaborate with Consulting Directors and Delivery teams to ensure opportunities align with capability and resource planning.
Maintain accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and opportunity tracking through Salesforce.
Consistently achieve sales targets while contributing to Bailey Abbott's strategic growth and market expansion.

Requirements

Demonstrated success in a Business Development or Sales role within IT consulting, professional services or technology solutions, with a proven track record of winning new business.
Strong understanding of Digital Transformation, Data Intelligence, and Technology Consulting, with the ability to identify opportunities and align client needs with consulting solutions.
Proven ability to build strategic relationships with executive stakeholders and influence decision-makers throughout complex sales cycles.
Highly commercial, with strong negotiation, presentation, and proposal development skills, and the ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
Experience developing and managing a healthy sales pipeline using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, with accurate forecasting and opportunity management.
An established professional network within the Western Australian market and experience selling into government, enterprise, or mid-market organisations will be highly regarded.
