Who We Are – ONECORE
An industry leading project management, engineering, and construction business, we have worked on some of Australia’s largest projects. Having identified a niche within our key markets for our unique set of skills within project management, project delivery and project controls, we have grown at an exponential rate and understand that our ability to grow and be successful depends on our ability to attract and recruit like-minded individuals who want to be part our journey.
We embrace different. We empower our people, provide them with the tools, knowledge and support and let them get on with their job. We encourage flexibility, focusing on the output and adding value rather than the time in the office.
Our ability to work collaboratively with our clients positions us as a partner of choice – whether it be consulting, project delivery or overall project management solutions, we approach each project differently and are prepared to challenge the norm; a value add we provide to our clients and the creative challenges for our people.
Join the ONECORE Team
With an ever increasing number of clients and projects we recognise the need for considered planning, steady growth, and that having the right people supported by developing our in-house systems, leveraging technology and being efficient with our processes is critical to our growth.
As such, we are looking to introduce our next team members to expand our business.
Project Engineers to Project Managers
We are seeking experienced Project Engineers, Senior Project Engineers and Project Managers to join our team in various locations around Australia including FIFO and Perth based roles, across both civil infrastructure and mining projects.
If you have the right attitude, communication skills, and drive to succeed, we want to hear from you.
Opportunities exist for both immediate start and upcoming projects.
About our Role
We have existing work for you to walk into and take on tomorrow; our clients and relationships are established. We are continuing to grow our team by developing our own and bringing in experience to support us all. We see this role as a future leader in our business and are looking for you to grow and develop future team members.
Support? There will be plenty of it. Our director and team are industry leading construction professionals and will be on hand to coach, guide and support you and your transition into our business.
What can you expect?
As an experienced engineering professional, we do not believe in providing you a shopping list of standard tasks straight from a PD. Sure, some of your deliverables will be as expected – tendering, planning, procurement, resource management, technical engineering, quality, safety, progress and cost tracking, reporting, contract management and so on.
What we are really looking for is:
- Leadership and teamwork – proven ability to lead teams, work collaboratively and positively influence project outcomes.
- Excellent communication – clear, confident communicator who can align teams and drive results.
- Delivery focus – skilled in planning and executing construction works to safety, schedule, cost and quality requirements, with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive problem solving – able to identify risks early, resolve issues before they escalate and drive continuous improvement.
- Technical expertise – solid project experience in civil construction (earthworks, roads, concrete, structures, buildings) or SMP & E&I.
- Quality mindset – committed to “doing it right” the first time to avoid delays and rework.
- Commercial acumen – understanding specifications, scope, contracts, program, cost tracking, forecasting, and managing subcontractors.
- Systems proficiency – confident using Excel and project systems, with the ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
- Relationship building – able to develop trust and strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Drive to excel – people who strive to exceed client expectations and deliver excellence.
Note: Experience requirements vary by role, from Project Engineer to Project Manager.
Essentials:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering
- Valid Driver’s Licence and White Card
- Right to work in Australia
- Positive attitude
What can we offer you?
- Competitive rates and conditions
- Career growth and professional development
- Experienced and supportive leadership team
- A diverse range of Tier 1, 2 and 3 clients
- Opportunities across Perth and FIFO projects
