About the Opportunity

Everlight Medical & Skin Clinic is a brand-new, purpose-built general practice and skin clinic opening in the heart of Glenunga, just minutes from Adelaide's CBD.

We're seeking an experienced Senior Medical Receptionist / Administration Coordinator who is passionate about patient care, enjoys leading by example, and is looking for an opportunity to grow into a future leadership role.

This is far more than a reception position. As one of our foundation team members, you'll help establish the systems, culture and patient experience that will define our practice. For the right person, there is genuine opportunity to progress into a Practice Manager role as the clinic expands.

What You'll Be Doing

Providing warm, professional and compassionate service to every patient
Managing appointments and daily reception operations
Coordinating patient enquiries both in person and over the phone
Supporting doctors and nurses to ensure efficient daily workflow
Assisting with Medicare, billing and private practice administration
Managing correspondence, referrals and electronic medical records
Supporting quality improvement, accreditation and practice systems
Assisting with onboarding and mentoring future administration staff
Contributing to the development of policies, procedures and workflow improvements

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in general practice or specialist medical administration
Demonstrated leadership experience or the confidence to step into a senior support role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Experience using Best Practice or similar clinical software (highly regarded)
Medicare and private billing knowledge
Ability to prioritise and multitask in a busy environment
A proactive, solutions-focused approach
Professional presentation with a genuine passion for customer service
A desire to grow professionally and contribute to the long-term success of the practice
